We stayed at Logan's Run as a family of four (two children aged 11 and 16) in March 2017.
Rebecca was an excellent host to deal with and all the arrangements were so easy. She met us on arrival and had keys and info ready for us, along with some treats!
The villa was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed to make our week comfortable.
The location was excellent and we were easily able to walk to a huge selection of restaurants and grocery stores. It felt very safe and secure to walk at all times of the day due to the presence of security at the neighbouring resorts. The great location meant we could walk and use local buses - we rented a car for one day but felt we didn't one more than that.
We appreciated having lots of space to relax in and having two showers to use was really helpful when we returned from our daily beach trips.
A highlight of our week was a day trip to Anguilla on the racing catamaran Arawak - so much fun! Rebecca recommended the trip to us and we're so glad we did it. The boat leaves from the beach which is a 5 minute walk away.
We really enjoyed our stay at Logan's Run and our first visit to SXM. We will be back!
We stayed for a few Months in Logans Run. Its a very well equiped Beach House at a beautiful location. We enjoyed every day........therefore we recommend this lovely House
This is a very spacious, comfortable, luxurious house! We've stayed at Logan's Run for two weeks and had a blast. Logan's Run is a few steps away from the beautiful Pelican Beach. (Amazing sun sets!) From the upper terrace you have a nice view of many different shades of blue the Caribbean is known for. A breeze makes the terrace very cool, even on hot days. On the lower terrace you are able to enjoy the sun. In both bedrooms (and the other rooms) are shutters to keep them dark, so the early St. Maarten sun won't wake you... The shutters run silently and smooth btw. There was a big party going on at the hotel nearby one night. Outside the house you could hear the loud music, but inside: nothing to hear. The house is fully equipped. In fact, the only thing you need to bring yourself is toothpaste, a toothbrush and your bathing suit. (That, of course, is an exaggeration, but just a tiny one.) We rented a car, but that's not really necessary, because loads of (beach/cocktail)bars and restaurants are at walking distance from the house. A supermarket is about a five minute walk. You can even take a walk to Carousel, where they sell the best ice creams in the world! (10-15 minutes and they're worth it!) We stayed at Logan's Run with our two daughters (13 and 14). They're not used to sleep in one bed together, but the beds are king size, so they didn't bother each other with waving arms or legs in the middle of the night. We know St. Maarten for mosquitos, but we never even seen one in this nice cool house! If you don't bring many clothes it's al right, because the house comes with a washer/dryer combination. Doing dishes is out of the question, because for everyones comfort (especially for our daughters') there is a dish washer. The kitchen is completed with a spacious fridge that keeps your drinks cool and your ice cubes frozen! If you are looking for a good place to stay in St. Maarten: look no further! You have found Logan's Run! Stop now and click to make this reservation! (FYI: this review was NOT made by the owner, I'm a really satisfied customer from the Netherlands.)
We've stayed in Logan's run for 2 weeks and it was lovely. Logan's run has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, air conditioning all over the house, a beautiful view, it is very clean and everything you needed it was there. With a short evening walk you reach the restaurants and bars, you should take the lobster! The beach is a minute away from the house, and many other beaches you can visit on the island. Highly recommended, we will definitely go back.
